In addition to teaching within the Humanities program, the person are going to be expected to participate in community life through service in Hotchkiss’ residential, advising, and co-curricular programs. Typical responsibilities of a regular academic at Hotchkiss embody teaching four courses, work 2 seasons (or the equivalent) of a co-curricular (sports team, discussion team, Yearbook, et al.), 1-2 nights of duty per week and one weekend of duty per month in a very residential building, associate degreed periodic service on school committees and/or as an consultant to student clubs.
